The purpose of this piece was to look at a previous work of writing and change it in some way. That way could be adding a more creative side or expanding on a detail in the original piece that the writer felt needed more attention. I decided to look at my "Why I Write" essay and expand on the guava tree that I wrote about in the beginning.
